Platform guide
Does MECCHA CHAMELEON Have Crossplay?
No. At launch, MECCHA CHAMELEON is PC (Steam) only, so there is no console or mobile crossplay. If you want to play together, everyone needs it on Steam.
Crossplay status, plainly
| Platform | Crossplay with PC? |
|---|---|
| Steam (PC) | ✅ Yes — this is the only platform |
| PlayStation / Xbox / Switch | ❌ No — no console version exists |
| Mobile | ❌ No — no mobile version exists |
| Steam Deck | ⚠️ Unofficial (Proton), same Steam version |
Why there’s no crossplay (yet)
Crossplay needs the game to exist on more than one platform first. MECCHA CHAMELEON is a solo-developed Windows game, so there’s simply nothing on console or mobile to crossplay with. Crossplay would only become relevant if the developer ports it — and nothing like that is announced.
How to play with friends right now
Since everyone is on Steam, getting a group together is straightforward — one person hosts, the rest join via Steam invite. Full setup in our play-with-friends guide.
Looking ahead: if a console port or crossplay ever lands, it’ll show up in the patch notes first.
